Who is responsible?
Reelbiscuitbazar Spatial Media Ltd, company no. 15380426, is the controller for personal information handled through our editorial correspondence and website operation. Our registered office is 18 King Street, Bristol BS1 4EF, United Kingdom. Contact [email protected] for privacy enquiries.
Using the website
You do not need an account to read our pages. The supplied website code does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, external fonts or embedded social-media widgets. Images and site assets are requested from the site itself.
When a browser requests a page, the hosting infrastructure necessarily receives technical information such as an IP address, request time, requested address and browser details. Hosting providers may retain access and security logs under their configured policies. Where we use those records, our purpose is reliable delivery, security and fault investigation, based on our legitimate interests. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
The local contact tool
Writing in the contact tool does not transmit your text to us. The draft and preview exist in the current page’s memory; the tool does not save them in cookies or local storage. Copy uses your browser’s clipboard permission. Download creates a text file on your device. Those copies remain under your control and may be accessible to other people or applications using that device.
If you email us
We receive your email address, message, any name you provide and the usual email metadata. We use this information to answer enquiries, investigate corrections and maintain relevant correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running an editorial website and responding to people who contact it. Where a request concerns a legal obligation, we may process information to meet that obligation.
We normally retain ordinary editorial correspondence for up to 12 months after the matter is closed. We may keep relevant records longer when necessary to document a correction, handle a dispute or satisfy legal requirements. Please avoid sending sensitive personal data or information about other people unless necessary and appropriate.
Service providers and disclosure
Hosting and email providers may process information on our behalf to deliver their services. We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights. Where a service involves an international transfer, applicable data-protection safeguards must be used.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights are subject to legal conditions. Contact us with enough detail to identify the correspondence; we may need proportionate identity verification.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom. We would also welcome the opportunity to address your concern directly.
