Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small pieces of data a website can ask your browser to retain and return with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser facility that can retain information on a device without automatically sending it with every page request. Both can be used for preferences, but neither is required by the editorial features supplied with this site.
What the editorial pages use
The supplied page scripts do not set cookies, use local storage or use session storage. They operate the mobile navigation, scroll reveals and local note-writing tool. There are no analytics, advertising pixels, embedded videos or third-party social widgets in these pages.
A separately supplied site-wide privacy control may remember your choice in browser storage. Such a preference records a consent decision rather than a contact draft. Any optional storage introduced by the deployed service should be described in that control before it is enabled.
Contact drafts, clipboard and downloads
The contact draft exists in the current page’s memory. The site does not save it for a later visit. Reloading or leaving the page may clear it, although your browser may independently restore form entries or offer autofill.
Choosing “Copy note” places the prepared text on your device’s clipboard if your browser allows it. Choosing “Download .txt” saves a file to your device. These are actions you request, not tracking cookies. Deleting website cookies does not remove copied text or downloaded files.
Browser controls
You can inspect and remove a site’s cookies and storage through your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Those settings can also restrict future storage. If a separate preference control is present, use it to review your choice; clearing site data may cause the control to ask again. The editorial reading features do not depend on optional storage.
External links and technical requests
Following an external link opens a separately operated service that may use its own cookies. Consult its notice before interacting. Ordinary requests for our pages and local images still reach the hosting infrastructure; browser storage is different from server access logs.
